The Global Thought Foundation’s women’s empowerment initiative is aimed at empowering women and adolescent girls from lower socio-economic strata and enabling them to realize their potential in every sphere of life—be it at home, at work, or in the community—by providing them with necessary and relevant awareness, access, and skills. We raise intensive awareness among women and girls through culturally acceptable, gender-sensitive activities, resulting in the adoption of affirmative, health-promoting behaviors. Women and adolescent girls are also counselled and advocated for on important matters such as menstrual hygiene, sexual and reproductive health, contraception, family planning, healthy nutrition for mothers and children, and so on.
